We’re continuing our series on awesome local businesses in and around Norco. This week we take a look at a family-friendly favorite in nearby Riverside. Whether you crave the thrill of roller coasters and drop towers or long for the nostalgia of classic amusement park rides, our pick of the week has you covered, and more.
Castle Park
Castle Park is a local, independent amusement park located on Diana Avenue in Riverside, just off 91. Castle park was founded in 1976, and as it’s expanded over the years it has developed something for just about everyone.
Today, Castle Park has a wide range of fun options. Four mini golf courses offer plenty of variety. If you’re more of a rides person, you’ll enjoy several roller coasters, plus a few dozen other rides. Their arcade boasts over 200 games and machines, too.
As the summer heats up, though, the crown jewel of Castle Park may just be Buccaneer Cove. This four-story water park has five water slides and dozens of other interactive water features. Shaded lounge chairs are available for adults, too.
Tickets
Unlimited tickets start at $19.99. Cheaper options are available for those who plan to skip one or more areas, such as Buccaneer Cove or mini golf. Keep an eye out for special discount days, too. Your best bet may be the summer-long Summer Saver Pass at just $29.99.
