This week’s pick is something a little different: Norco’s very own escape room! Escape rooms are typically after-dinner fare, though, so first: let’s eat.

Dinner Before the Game

Escape rooms require you to be at your best: mentally, physically, and psychologically. That means that before you get your escape room on, you’ll need to fuel up. Of course, we recommend you stop by and see us at The Field House Restaurant & Bar. Our ever-changing, chef-driven menu has something for every palate. And if you need a little liquid courage before your escape room experience, our full bar will take care of you.

DAB Escape Room

DAB Escape Room is a recently-opened escape room in Norco, located on Hamner Avenue (coincidentally it’s in the same building as Flavourful, a previous Pick of the Week). It’s open every day from 4pm until 11pm, with expanded hours on the weekends.

What Is an Escape Room?

If you’re new to the escape room concept, here’s the gist of it. Your party has been locked in a room. There is at least one way to escape. To find the way out, you’ll search for clues and solve various puzzles and challenges. The conditions are simple: to win, break out. If you fail to escape the room in the allotted time, you lose.

The Yin and Yang Room at DAB

DAB Escape Room is a new business that is currently running a single room located inside the DAB Dance Studio: the Yin and Yang Room. The Asian-themed room fits groups up to 8 and focuses on team-based challenges and puzzles.

Note that for safety reasons the room isn’t actually locked. Participants are free to exit if the experience is too intense. The room is appropriate for guests 7 and up.
