Summer is heating up, so today’s Norco Pick of the Week is a place where you and the kids can cool off, free of charge! Technically just outside Norco, Dairyland Park is located off San Remo Drive in nearby Eastvale and is part of the Jurupa Community Services District. Norco residents are just as welcome there as they are at Norco city parks, of course!
Dairyland Park offers paved walking trails and covered picnic shelters with grills as well as public restrooms. The standout features at Dairyland Park are the sizeable splash pad and the dog play and agility area.
Dog Area
The dog play area at Dairyland Park is split into large and small dog sections, as is typical. Both areas boast a large area to run, as well as a mixture of natural grass and soft artificial surfaces. The dog areas are equipped with agility equipment, too, making Dairyland Park a great stop if your pup loves to navigate obstacles. Also, the dog area is located right by the parking lot, making it easy to corral your pups from vehicle to playground and back.
Splash Pad
The splash pad at Dairyland is sure to please the young and the young at heart alike. Centrally located in the park, the splash pad offers tropical themed fun, with palm trees that spray and mist participants and water cannons kids can use to spray each other.
